She was also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Tract Society for 33 years. She was also the interim editor of the Sabbath Recorder from August 1, 1952- March 1953 and also has the distinction of being the first woman to hold this position.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Van Horn was an excellent Bible student and teacher.
