This year the Recognitions Committee (Dusty Davis, Laura Lee Modesitt, Jessica Meathrell and I) chose a woman who has served the Seventh Day Baptist denomination and her church for many years. She served the conference as the Vice-President and then the President of the Women\u2019s Board, on the SCSC committee, and has been a regular contributor to the Sabbath Recorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our recipient and her husband have been married since 1974. They raised two children.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She graduated as valedictorian of her class at White Cloud High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She served in SCSC in 1970 and in 1971. She also did dedicated service in Plainfield, NJ for 1 year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She graduated from Milton College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was the secretary of the Sabbath Recorder, and the editor and secretary at the American Sabbath Tract Society office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shares her gift of music by playing piano for a church in her community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has served on staff at SDB Pre-Con.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She worked for and retired from the Bridgeton School District at 65.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She currently serves as the treasurer of the Shiloh Benevolent Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has recently experienced unthinkable loss and her faith has not waivered. Her anchor holds to her Savior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
