Agnes Kenyon Clarke Bond accepting the Robe of Achievement

Agnes Kenyon Clarke Bond was born into a family of educators and continued the tradition and turned to teaching when she became a widow with three young children to care for. Many recall her patient yet firm instruction. She was a Sabbath School leader and deaconess in the Alfred SDB church.

Eventually she remarried Dr. AJC Bond dean of the Alfred University School of Theology. She supported her husbands work in the world of the theologs, teaching and administration and the families of his students as well. She was also a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Board of Education.
